Dieses schöne Zitat beschreibt meine Lust an der künstlerischen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Raum. Mich interessieren Orte, an denen sich Zeit verdichtet. Räume, die Spuren der Erinnerung und einer leisen Sehnsucht nach Schönheit tragen.
Ich arbeite mit der Transformation von Raum: von 3D zu 2D – und wieder zurück. Nicht als Abbildung, sondern als Verdichtung, als poetische Rekonstruktion, als Einladung, Wirklichkeit neu zu denken.
Meine Arbeiten entstehen in Serien – Stillleben, Collagen und fotografische Editionen –, in denen Material, Licht und Struktur miteinander in Dialog treten. Sie suchen das Wesentliche, das Leise, und eröffnen Zwischenräume für Wahrnehmung und Betrachtung. Jedes Werk ist eine Spurensuche, eine Annäherung an das Unsichtbare im Sichtbaren, an die feine Verschiebung, in der Realität zu Vorstellung wird und Bilder zu Räumen.
Das ist meine künstlerische Ausgangsposition – und meine Leidenschaft.

Ich finde Schönheit im Stillen – in Details, die sich erst offenbaren, wenn man wirklich hinsieht.
Aufgewachsen in Grimma und Leipzig, in einer Welt, in der man sich vieles selbst erschaffen musste, entwickelte ich früh eine Sensibilität für Räume, Atmosphäre und das Unausgesprochene.
Über ein Vorstudium für Malerei an der HGB Leipzig kam ich nach Wien, wo ich Bühnenbild und Kostüm bei Erich Wonder an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste studierte und mit dem Magister abschloss. Seitdem bewege ich mich zwischen Kunst, Bühne und inszenierten Räumen.
Ich habe als Bühnen-, Kostüm- und Szenenbildnerin für Theater, Film und Musikprojekte in Europa und den USA gearbeitet und war 2017 im Hearing für die Professur für Bühnen- und Szenenbild an der Kunstuniversität Graz. Seit 2009 konzentriere ich mich zunehmend auf meine bildende Arbeit: räumliche Bildwelten, Stillleben, Collagen, großformatige fotografische Arbeiten – Räume zum Sehen und Fühlen.
2018 gründete ich gemeinsam mit Christian Bachmann das Studio Neuvermoebelt, das Möbel und Objekte des Alltags mit klarer, nachhaltiger Formensprache entwickelt.
Ich habe Räume gebaut, Bilder geschaffen, ein Kind großgezogen und ein Unternehmen gegründet. Manche Wege waren Umwege, doch sie haben mich geprägt und zu dem gemacht, was ich heute bin.
Das ist meine künstlerische Ausgangsposition – und meine Leidenschaft.

Statement:
This beautiful quote encapsulates my desire to engage with space artistically. I am interested in places where time is condensed. Spaces that bear traces of memory and a quiet longing for beauty.
I work with the transformation of space, from 3D to 2D and back again. This is not a representation, but a condensation; a poetic reconstruction; an invitation to rethink reality.
I create my works in series, including still lifes, collages and photographic editions, in which material, light and structure enter into dialogue with one another. They seek the essential and quiet aspects of life, opening up spaces for perception and contemplation. Each piece is an exploration of traces, an attempt to capture the invisible within the visible and the subtle shift where reality becomes imagination and images become spaces.
This is my artistic starting point – and my passion.

I find beauty in silence, in details that only reveal themselves when you really look.
Having grown up in Grimma and Leipzig, in a world where you had to create many things yourself, I developed an early sensitivity to spaces, atmosphere and the unspoken.
After completing a preliminary course in painting at the HGB Leipzig, I moved to Vienna to study stage and costume design with Erich Wonder at the Academy of Fine Arts, graduating with a Master's degree. Since then, I have moved between the worlds of art, the stage, and staged spaces.
I have worked as a stage, costume and set designer on theatre, film and music projects in Europe and the US. In 2017, I was a candidate for a professorship in stage and set design at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Since 2009, I have increasingly focused on my visual art, creating spatial imagery, still lifes, collages and large-format photographic works that offer spaces to see and feel.
In 2018, I founded the Neuvermoebelt studio with Christian Bachmann. We develop furniture and everyday objects with a clear, sustainable design language.
I have built spaces, created images, raised a child and founded a company. Some of these paths were detours, but they have shaped me and made me who I am today.
This is my artistic starting point — and my passion.
Today, I live and work in Vienna.
